People 1: Mateo

Hola, soy Mateo. Me gusta jugar a la Play 7. Estudio un Grado en Finanzas en Estocolmo y vivo en Copenhague. Desde que me fui de Madrid, de casa de mis padres,  ¡me siento libre! Bueno, la verdad que echo de menos la comida de mi padre y los cantes de mi madre. Se quieren un montón, aunque son como niños. Se pelean por tonterías y después se dan besos. Le dice mi madre a mi padre: "Callate, que pareces un disco rallado" (nunca entendí esa frase... ¿qué disco? ¿un disco duro de esos que hacían funcionar los ordenadores? Qué antigua es mi madre para algunas cosas y qué moderna para otras) y, después de un rato, lo abraza como si no lo hubiera visto desde hace 1 año. Es muy cariñosa. A veces demasiado. De pequeño siempre andaba limpiándome los besos que me dejaba marcados con pinta labios. Menos mal que ahora usa de los que no manchan.

Como dije antes, me muevo entre Estocolmo y Copenhague todos los días en tren y bici para ir a la uni, que no se tarda nada. Por las tardes, nos montamos algún plan con mis amigos: Dinesh, Giulia, Sae, Thijs, Martín y Joy, si no tenemos trabajos o presentaciones que hacer. Y 4 días por semana, por lo menos, hay fiesta. El sitio al que más me gusta ir es "Yesterday", ambientado en los 2020's. Tiene un muy buen rollito.

Este fin de semana me escapo a New York a visitar a mi hermana. Tengo un temperamento que a veces se me va de las manos pero ella sabe que es una de mis personas favoritas.

Hi, I'm Mateo. I like playing with the Play Station 7. I study Finance in Stockholm and live in Copenhagen. Since I left my parent's house in Madrid to live on my own, I feel free! Well, the truth is I do miss my father's cooking and my mother's singing all the time. They really love each other, though they act like children sometimes. They fight over actual nonsense and after a while they kiss each other like crazy. "Shut up already! You sound like a broken disc!" says my mother to my father (I never understood what this expression meant... what disc? Those hard disc things that used to run computers? My mother is really vintage sometimes and really modern other times) and, after a while, she hugs him as if she hasn't seen him for a year. She's a very loving person. Sometimes she's too much. When I was a child, she was always rubbing the lipstick out of my face, after kissing me like crazy. Fortunately, she now uses the non-staining ones.

As I said before, I move between Stockholm and Copenhagen almost every day by train and bike to get to uni. I get there pretty fast. In the afternoons, if we don't have any project or presentation to make, my friends and I hang out: Dinesh, Giulia, Sae, Thijs, Martin and Joy. And, at least 4 days per week, we have a party plan. The bar I like the most is "Yesterday", scened like the 2020's. It has a cool vibe.

This weekend I'll visit my sister in a quick trip to New York. My bad temper sometimes gets out of hands but she knows she's one of my favorite people.
